Are you a UK-based queer artist in need of some musical inspiration? If so, this October, you could be one of 21 lucky queer musical artists to take to the East Sussex countryside for a free residential LGBTQIA songwriting retreat.

Organised by queer artist, songwriter, and events organiser Kyla Stroud, the Kloud Retreat is a week dedicated to supporting talent, building community, and celebrating diversity in the LGBTQIA scene in the UK.

Kloud Management welcomes all musical talents, from artists new on the scene to the oldies but goldies. The aim is to empower queer artists to express their authentic selves, share their stories, and make meaningful connections with fellow queer artists.

The all-expenses paid retreat will take place at a Bridgerton-esque country estate only one hour outside of London, with daily writing sessions with fellow LGBTQIA talent. It’s fully catered and there’s optional morning yoga to get the creative juices flowing. There are also evening activities such as campfires and movie nights to unwind and connect with other artists.

The end-of-the-week showcase will give attendees a chance to debut their new songs to an audience of friends, fans, and music industry professionals.

Applications went live yesterday. Just send in your best track for a chance to join the retreat. So, if you want to spend time with 20 other cool queer artists, apply now!
