Pride Month may be over but that isn’t slowing down any of these queer artists! If you’re looking for some new tracks to listen to this summer, here is your guide to some of the queer music coming out this month.

Aporia – Mo Van Zandt

Now based in Berlin, she’s dived headfirst into a wildly exciting solo career, enthused by the city’s dance culture which is taking her musical journey to new heights.

Una Latina En Londres – Milena Sanchez

5 July

Queer British Latina, Milena Sanchez, is now dropping her first full body of work, a five-track EP titled Una Latina En Londres which translates to “A Latina In London”. This EP is a reintroduction of Milena Sanchez into the music industry after spending the last seven years away from music, pursuing her career in the podcast world.

She is now back with these five incredible tracks, where she effortlessly flows between Spanish and English, giving us a mix of both her Latin and British cultures, whilst also genre-blending between Reggaeton, R&B and Indie, something that the UK is yet to explore.

Milena says: “This EP is an insight into me. Whether it’s me being a Latin woman in London or whether it’s me being a queer woman, who has gone through a transformation over the last few years. Both of these things are super important to me, it’s what makes me, me. I want women to feel liberated when they listen to this EP, but I also want the UK to embrace Latin music. I want to create music that inspires women to love openly, no matter who it is, you can go against society’s norms. I’m here to be that escapism for women who don’t feel seen. And I’m also here to represent the Latinos in the UK who feel they are not seen and feel that Latin music isn’t welcomed here.”
