Stars like Dannii Minogue, David Tennant, Suzy Eddie Izzard, Jessie Ware, and Mae Martin have created video messages to support Trans+ Solidarity Alliance’s (TSA) new campaign #TransYouthAreLoved. Over 40 celebrities have created their own video messages to remind trans+ youth that they are seen, valued, and supported within the community. This new campaign was co-produced by activist Jude Guaitamacchi, DIVA’s very own Executive Director Nancy Kelley, and Paramount commissioner Kit Morey.

This new campaign comes at a time when 72% of trans young adults have faced verbal abuse (Just Like Us), and 88% have had suicidal thoughts or feelings. It is more pressing now than ever to provide a counter-narrative to the negativity that trans youth are often faced with.

You can help remind trans+ youth that they are seen by taking part in the TSA campaign #TransYouthAreLoved. Record a message of hope and love to trans+ youth and tag in @transpeopleareloved and #TransYouthAreLoved. Join the ranks of Will Young, Duncan James, Suzi Ruffell, and Divina DeCampo in helping to make trans+ youth feel a little less alone in a time of such hostility.

The campaign #TransPeopleAreLoved was set up by campaigner Jude Guaitamacchi.
