Who is performing at this year’s DIVA Dance Tent at Brighton & Hove Pride?

Get ready to dance the day away at this year’s celebration of LGBTQIA women and non-binary people

We are firmly into Pride Month now, and excitement is brewing about the many events around the country where we will soon be raising our rainbow flags high. One of the most anticipated events in the Pride calendar is of course Brighton & Hove Pride’s annual Fabuloso festival. 

As ever, we have our very own special tent to celebrate all of the wonderful LGBTQIA women and non-binary people who are part of our community. Here is everyone you can watch at this year’s Fabuloso.

DJ MIMI 

Meet Mimi, the Brighton/London dynamo shaking up the music scene! This self-taught DJ, radio host, event organiser, and activist creates electrifying blends of African, South Asian, and UK sounds. Hosting on BBC Asian Network and founding Pink Islands Collective, Mimi champions LGBTQIA visibility with flair. Her energetic sets and eclectic style make her a rising star you can’t miss!

Emma Love 

Meet Emma Love, the Brighton-based DJ/producer who’s fueling the house music scene with her infectious beats! Holding key residencies and performing for BOXED events, Emma has shared the stage with legends like Latmun, Skream, Dennis Ferrer, and Idris Elba. With new music on the horizon, Emma Love is the one to watch!

Jenn Getz and Alfie 

Get ready for Jenn Getz & Alfie! Known for their electric energy and uncanny ability to read the crowd, these ladies dominate the booth at Soho Garden DXB, warming up for icons like Sonny Fodera, MK, Claptone, Solardo, and Fisher.

Michelle Manetti 

Meet Michelle Manetti, a DJ, vocalist, promoter, and producer who’s a cornerstone of East London’s queer scene. Founder of the Fèmmme Fraîche party and former editor of Lipstick Disco, she champions underrepresented artists. With 20 years of experience, her eclectic sets span house, techno, rave, and more.

Sami Kabu 

Meet Sami Capaldi, a DJ and producer known for her deep grooves and upbeat house and techno. Originating from Durban and growing up in South London, she found her voice in Brighton, launching Nightshift Records. Supported by legends like Richie Hawtin and Camelphat, Sami’s captivating sets and intricate productions are making waves.

Stephani B 

Meet Stephani B, the rising Drummer DJ who’s taken the music world by storm. Combining her passion for electronic dance music with live drumming, she’s shared stages with industry giants. During the pandemic, she perfected her craft, amassing over 300,000 social media followers.

And finally, meet DJ duo Victoria Peckham and Rita Lin, who bring the best vibes from Ibiza’s sweatboxes to East London’s queer scene. It’s queer hot mess clubbing at its finest!
