The groundbreaking sapphic dating show I Kissed A Girl has sadly come to an end. For the last two months, LGBTQIA audiences everywhere have been completely obsessed with the new BBC series, rooting for the 10 singletons who entered Dannii Minogue’s Masseria.
To close the show with a bang, the cast all reunited for a very special reunion to find out what was happening eight months after the show. Here’s everything we learned.
Georgia and Cara are no longer together
Fans everywhere were shocked to learn that OG couple Cara and Georgia had gone their separate ways. Although Georgia couldn’t be at the reunion due to a football match, Cara revealed that their communication broke down outside of the Masseria and it didn’t work out. The pair are still good friends though!
Fiorenza has a new girlfriend
After being caught in a love triangle with Amy and Hannah, the Scottish drummer revealed that while she didn’t find love on the show, she is now happily in a new relationship. Fiorenza and Amy are just friends now, and Amy added their flirtationship in the Masseria was “the perfect almost-love story and I think that’s beautiful in the way that it is.”
Meg and Lailah are now dating
After Eva didn’t turn at the final Kiss Off, Meg revealed that she had actually found love in the Masseria… with Lailah. The pair seemed absolutely smitten as they spoke about how they connected after the show. Lailah said: “Falling in love with Meg has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I think the whole country fell in love with her but being able to do it on a personal level, she has the biggest heart. She’s that girl.”
Priya is married… but not to Naee
In a completely unexpected twist, Naee revealed that Priya had actually gotten married to the fiancé she mentioned in episode one of the show. While Naee claimed that Priya hadn’t told her, Priya said: “I got married. It was a difficult decision because I didn’t want to hurt [Naee] and I truly am very sorry for hurting you, and that was not my intention whatsoever. I just went with my heart.”
Yikes.
Abbie and Lisha are still together
And last, but certainly not least, Abbie and Lisha defied everyone’s expectations and are still happily coupled up eight months after the show! The pair are now hoping to move in together soon, and are proof that maybe there is some special sapphic magic in meeting with a single kiss.
