This Pride month is full of excitement with a whole host of gloriously LGBTQIA releases

Get ready to enjoy Pride month from your sofa this year! This June, we have a whole bunch of exciting new releases to look forward to. From returns of fan favourite shows to the release of new films, there is something for everyone in this month’s lineup. 

So get comfortable, you’ve got a lot of TV and films to watch this month. 

Am I OK? 

6 June 

Premiering on Max, Am I OK? is a comedy-drama directed by the iconic queer duo Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne. Starring Dakota Johnson, Am I OK? follows the story of a 32-year-old woman who realises that she is a lesbian. With a little help from her best friend, the film watches as she learns how to come out and date in her 30s. 

Queer Planet 

6 June 

This Peacock TV special will explore the “rich diversity of animal sexuality — from flamboyant flamingos to pansexual primates, sex-changing clownfish, multi-gendered mushrooms and everything in between.” Sounds like a hoot! 

The Boys Season four 

13 June 

Queer fan favourite show The Boys is back once again for the fourth instalment of this superhero series. Get ready to catch up with some of our favourites as they face a world on the brink. When the stakes are at their highest, will the team be able to work together to save the world? 

Bridgerton Season Three Part Two 

13 June 

Dearest Gentle Reader, will we get some sapphic action in the second half of this global phenomenon? Fans everywhere have been theorising that there could potentially be a sapphic storyline between none other than Eloise and Cressida based on the first half of the series. We’ll have to wait and see… 

House Of The Dragon season two 

16 June 

It’s back! We’ve been waiting in anticipation for the second series of this Game Of Thrones prequel.  The Westeros royals — queer icon Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke — are starting their next battle… and we can’t wait! 

Fancy Dance 

28 June 

Streaming on AppleTV+, get ready to become even more obsessed with Lily Gladstone in this new drama. The film follows Jax as she looks for her missing sister whilst also preparing her niece for an upcoming powwow.
