Emma D’Arcy is best known for their iconic role as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in the Game Of Thrones prequel series, House Of The Dragon (HOTD). The actor has captured the hearts of viewers, both for their performances as well as their charm in interviews for the show.

They are non-binary
Emma uses they/them pronouns and has described feeling pulled and repelled by masculine and feminine identity. Last year, in an interview with E News, Emma addressed their feelings on being a non-binary actor at Golden Globes.
Their drink of choice is…
“A negroni… sbagliato… with prosecco in it”. Yes for those who don’t know, Emma went viral during this promotional interview and became a certified heartthrob. They were also responsible for hordes of sapphics and queer folks ordering the drink at their local gay bar.
If they could learn any new language it would be Italian.
When asked by ELLE UK Emma said they would choose Italian out of all languages to learn.
Their friendship with their co-star Olivia Cooke is not what it’s like onscreen
In HOTD, Emma and Olivia play former best friends turned rivals. However, in real life, they are good friends. The pair have created a strong bond after filming together over the years.
They have a lot of theatre experience
Emma has performed in several theatre productions including Romeo And Juliette, The Crucible and The Games We Played.
