Blue Sunshine

Directed by Samyuktha Vijayan, Blue Sunshine follows a trans woman’s journey in a deeply conservative Indian community. We see Aravind, a high school teacher, navigate her transition despite the pressures and judgement from the society around her.

Asog

Sean Devlin’s hybrid narrative-documentary Asog tells the story of Jaya, a non-binary Filipino school teacher and typhoon survivor, on a road trip to enter a drag pageant. This profound, one-of-a-kind film is receiving its Scottish premiere at GFF this year, and you won’t want to miss it.
