2023 was a big one for Milena Sanchez. She made the decision to leave The Receipts Podcast after seven years. She released two hit singles, Daddy Issues and Waters, and fell in love with a woman – which both cemented her as a bisexual icon and inspired her to launch her women’s party space, Plus You Events.

Meeting her girlfriend: “We actually met at a concert. It was an instant thing. I know that’s so cliche, but it was honestly an instant feeling of familiarity”
Coming out to her daughter: “It was more scary than telling my super religious auntie or my mum”
