Fans of Reneé Rapp have been obsessing over her recent press tour interviews for the new remake of the classic high school film Mean Girls. In what is already being dubbed as one of the most “chaotic” and “unhinged” press tours in recent years, Reneé is showing everyone why she is a queer icon.
It all started when clips began to emerge of her fangirling over Megan Thee Stallion when asked what it was like to record their hit song Not My Fault. “Actually the best ass I’ve ever seen in my life,” the star gushed. “We were in dance rehearsal and I was like, ‘Wow, this is incredible! I’ve actually never seen anything like this’.”

“I’m a true Meg supporter,” she continued. “I hate that other man, so I love Megan Thee Stallion. I love her. If anybody tries her when it comes to that sorry ass man, it’s a do-or-die fight for me.”
Quickly people began to speculate that Reneé was referring to Tory Lanez who was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot.

Reneé continued to give the fans even more iconic quotes when she appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. When asked whether she had any notes for Rachel McAdams – who played Regina George in the original 2004 film – she simply said: “Date me?”

TikTok has gone wild for these hilarious press tour moments, made even better by the perplexed expressions of her co-star Christopher Briney who plays Aaron Samuels. In one interview Reneé even began a heated rant about a man who owns a bus touring company who was rude to her friends, leaving Christopher absolutely speechless.
