Ariana DeBose is the multi-talented Broadway star turned Hollywood actor who made headlines last year when she became the first openly queer woman of colour to win an Academy Award for acting, for her role in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story. Here are eight things you might not have already known about the record-breaking superstar…
She is dating costume designer Sue Makkoo
The adorable couple have reportedly been together since 2018. They met behind the scenes of the Broadway musical Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, in which DeBose was starring. They now live together in a cottage in upstate New York.
