The comedian and Survivor star have brought some queer joy to the start of 2024

Happy New Queer! Comedian and actor Mae Martin made sure to leave 2023 with a bang by hard launching their new girlfriend Parvati Shallow on Instagram. Showcasing some sweet photobooth images, Mae captioned the post: “Parv’s here, she’s queer, Happy New Year.”
Parvati, who is best known for winning the show Survivor, also posted the sweet snaps to her Instagram, not only hard launching their relationship but also coming out as well. While the pair haven’t shared too much of their love story yet with fans, we do know that Parvati has been on Mae’s radar for quite some time…
Back in 2020, the Feel Good star tweeted: “I love Parvati and Boston Rob from Survivor so much that I just cried about it, but nobody in England knows what I’m talking about.”

While the pair officially hard launched on New Year’s Eve, fans were quick to spot that Parvati had actually already posted a snap of Mae earlier in the year. While she didn’t comment on the nature of her relationship with Mae at the time, the caption read: “Some people come into your life at the perfect and most unexpected time. They see you, they love you right where you are, they make you laugh so hard you cry.”
Celebs and fans alike were quick to congratulate the happy couple, with Bella Ramsey commenting “QT’s” and Anne With An E star Amybeth McNulty writing “No this is so cute ugh”. Writer Evan Ross Katz even commented: “A perfect pair. Honoured to have played the tiniest role in this epic link up. Love you both.”
