If you’re in need of some queer joy today, YouTubers Rose and Rosie have just shared some exciting news.
The married couple have been no stranger to sharing their fertility and family journey with their 992,000 subscribers and documented the process of the birth of their first child Ziggy back in 2021.
In a new video entitled “Big life update”, Rose and Rosie have revealed that they will be doing it all over again as they begin the process of IVF. When asked by a fan whether they were thinking about having any more children, Rose revealed that their family is not “complete” yet.
“I am working on it,” she continued. “I am currently in the process of IVF. We’ve currently got three top-quality embryos! I don’t know when I am going to be ready to pop one in. I don’t have a timeline. All I know is that IVF made me put on weight!”
The pair revealed that Rose is waiting for her hormones to settle before trying IVF. “I have been injecting myself for 21 days,” she said. “I’ve been taking tablets every day. I’ve been constipated for 6 weeks. I had the procedure of an egg collection which is when they harvest the eggs. It was more intense than they say.”
“I did it! All I can say is that my experience of IVF was a lot better and easier than I imagined.”
This news made fans everywhere weep in happiness not only because of the good news but also because of the couple’s fertility journey. In 2020, Rose suffered a difficult miscarriage.
“Something we don’t want to do after you have a miscarriage is put any pressure on it,” Rosie said in the video. “Everyone has a different set of chances. We now know that one in three people have miscarriages. We’re so much more clued up than we were.”
Fans everywhere rejoiced with the news. “Three top-quality embryos, I expected nothing less from you Rose, what a legend!” one commented.
“Your frogs are so excited and very proud of both of you. Rose, you are a boss b#%*h: IVF, putting Ziggy to sleep and picking up a chicken and you have the perfect partner in Rosie,” another said.
Rose and Rosie’s first child Ziggy was carried by Rosie who received IUI – Intrauterine insemination – rather than IVF.
We can’t wait to hear more updates!
